Creator Terms
Version 1.1 · Effective from 2026-07-12
1. Scope
These Creator Terms apply to accounts that sell, or apply to sell, training plans on Sweat Exchange. They apply in addition to the Terms of Service. By onboarding as a creator you agree to them.
2. Onboarding and eligibility
- Selling requires a completed Stripe Connect onboarding, including Stripe's identity (Know Your Customer) checks, and a United Kingdom seller profile. Selling eligibility is derived from your verified Stripe account status.
- You confirm you have the right to work as a self-employed seller and that the qualifications and credentials you display are accurate.
3. Sales model, commission and payouts
- Sweat Exchange is the merchant of record: buyers contract with Sweat Exchange, and you supply the plan content. Sales are processed through Stripe Connect with funds routed to your connected account.
- On each sale the platform deducts a commission at the rate displayed in Creator Studio at the time of sale. The remainder is your creator share.
- Payouts of your creator share are made by Stripe to your bank account on the payout schedule shown in your Studio Payouts screen.
- Refunds and chargebacks reverse the corresponding creator share. Where a refund or chargeback occurs after you have been paid out, the reversed amount becomes repayable and may be recovered from future sales or invoiced to you.
- You are responsible for your own tax affairs, including income tax, National Insurance and, if applicable, your own VAT registration. Sweat Exchange accounts for VAT on sales to buyers as merchant of record.
4. Your content
- You keep ownership of the content you create. You grant Sweat Exchange a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, market and deliver your content to buyers on the platform, including in previews and marketing surfaces, for as long as it is listed and, for buyers who purchased it, for as long as their entitlements remain active.
- You warrant that your content is your own or properly licensed, is accurate, safe when followed as written, and does not infringe anyone's rights or make medical claims.
- Published plan versions are immutable. Corrections and improvements are published as new versions; buyers of earlier versions keep the version they bought and may be offered an optional upgrade.
- Buyers with an active entitlement keep access to the version they bought even if you later delist a plan.
5. Standards and moderation
- Listings pass a publication review before going live. We may reject, require changes to, delist or take down content that breaches these terms, our content standards or the law, and we may suspend creator accounts for serious or repeated breaches.
- Sustained or fraudulent manipulation of reviews, sales or the marketplace is prohibited.
6. Ending selling
- You may stop selling at any time by delisting your plans. Existing buyer entitlements survive delisting.
- Accrued creator shares are paid out per the normal schedule, subject to reversals for refunds and chargebacks and to any legal or fraud-related hold.
7. Changes
We may update these Creator Terms. Material changes will be notified through Creator Studio or by email with reasonable notice, and continued selling after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
